GPA Calculator

Calculate your Grade Point Average (GPA).

How to Calculate

GPA is calculated by dividing the sum of (grade points × credits) by the total credits. GPA = Σ(Grade Points × Credits) ÷ Total Credits Grade point scale (out of 4.5): • A+ = 4.5, A0 = 4.0 • B+ = 3.5, B0 = 3.0 • C+ = 2.5, C0 = 2.0 • D+ = 1.5, D0 = 1.0 • F = 0.0

Example

Course 1: A+ (3 credits) → 4.5 × 3 = 13.5 Course 2: B+ (3 credits) → 3.5 × 3 = 10.5 Course 3: A0 (2 credits) → 4.0 × 2 = 8.0 Total credits = 8, Total points = 32.0 GPA = 32.0 ÷ 8 = 4.00
