FAQ

Does coffee or tea count toward water intake?
Caffeinated beverages do contribute to hydration, but they also have a mild diuretic effect. Drinking plain water is best. Limit coffee to 2–3 cups per day.
Is drinking too much water dangerous?
Drinking an extremely large amount of water in a short time can cause hyponatremia. It is best to spread your water intake throughout the day.
Should I drink water even if I am not thirsty?
When you feel thirsty, you may already be mildly dehydrated. It is good to develop a habit of drinking water regularly.
