FAQ
How do I count dependents?
Include yourself as 1. Add your spouse, children under 20, and parents over 60 who qualify for basic deductions. Example: self + spouse + 1 child = 3.
Why does this differ from my actual paycheck?
This calculator uses an approximation of the simplified tax table. Actual income tax may vary due to non-taxable allowances (meal, transportation), year-end settlement results, and additional tax credits.
What is the National Pension cap?
As of 2025, the National Pension contribution is capped at a monthly income of 5.9 million KRW. Even if your salary exceeds this, the maximum monthly contribution is 265,500 KRW.
